Article 1. Introduction

Idimota values honest, transparent and reliable product reviews from customers.

This review policy explains how customer product reviews are collected, published and managed.

This policy applies to all product reviews that are submitted or shared with Idimota.

Article 2. Collection of Reviews

Product reviews may be collected through email invitations following a purchase.

Customers may be invited to leave a product review after purchasing a product.

In addition, customers may voluntarily share a review, experience or feedback with Idimota, for example via social media, email or the contact form on the webshop.

Idimota aims to publish only product reviews originating from customers with an actual product or purchase experience.

Reviews may be verified using available order information, such as an order number, name or email address.

Article 3. Publication of Reviews

Submitted product reviews may be visibly published on the webshop of Idimota.

Reviews may include, among other things:

  • a star rating
  • a name or pseudonym
  • written feedback
  • photos or images
  • experiences with Idimota products

By submitting or sharing a review, the user grants Idimota permission to publish the review on the webshop and in Idimota communication materials, including social media and marketing materials.

Idimota reserves the right to technically format, translate or shorten reviews, without altering the substantive meaning of the review.

Article 4. Review Moderation

Idimota reserves the right not to publish, reject or remove reviews if they:

  • contain inaccurate or misleading information
  • are offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate
  • contain spam or commercial promotion
  • violate applicable laws or regulations
  • contain personal data of third parties

  • do not relate to an actual product or purchase experience

Idimota does not knowingly publish misleading or fake reviews.

Article 5. Use of Photos and User Content

If a user adds photos, images or other content to a review, the user remains responsible for such content.

By uploading or sharing such content, the user grants Idimota permission to use, reproduce and publish this content for commercial and promotional purposes related to Idimota.

The user declares that the shared content may lawfully be used and shared by the user and that no rights of third parties are infringed.

In some cases, Idimota may thank users for sharing a review, experience or user-generated content. Any appreciation, rewards or benefits do not influence the content or rating of reviews..

Article 6. External Software and Services

Idimota may use external software or Shopify applications for the collection and management of reviews.

External parties may process personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.

Article 7. Liability

Reviews reflect the personal opinions and experiences of individual users.

Idimota is not responsible for the content of reviews posted by users.

Article 8. Changes to this Review Policy

Idimota reserves the right to amend this review policy.

When the webshop, services used or applicable laws and regulations change, this review policy may be updated.

The most recent version of the review policy will always be published on the webshop. The date of the latest revision is stated at the bottom of this document.
