Terms and conditions
Article 1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions shall apply:
Idimota
the company as described in Article 2 of these Terms and Conditions.
Consumer
the natural person acting outside the scope of a profession or business.
Distance Contract
an agreement concluded between Idimota and the consumer via the webshop, exclusively through means of distance communication.
Products
all goods offered through the Idimota webshop.
Webshop
the online store of Idimota via www.idimota.com and www.idimota.nl.
Right of Withdrawal
the consumer’s legal right to withdraw from the agreement within the cooling-off period.

Idimota is a sole proprietorship established in the Netherlands.
Article 3. Applicability
- These Terms and Conditions apply to every offer made by Idimota and to every distance contract concluded between Idimota and the consumer.
- By placing an order through the webshop, the consumer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
- Any deviations from these Terms and Conditions are only valid if confirmed in writing by Idimota.
- If one or more provisions of these Terms and Conditions are found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully effective.
Article 4. The offer
- Idimota strives to display product information on the webshop as completely and accurately as possible.
- Images, colors, and product descriptions on the webshop are indicative and may differ slightly from the actual product.
- Obvious errors or mistakes in the offer are not binding on Idimota.
- All products offered by Idimota through the webshop are subject to availability. If a product appears to be unavailable after an order has been placed, Idimota shall inform the consumer as soon as possible and refund any amount already paid.
Article 5. Formation of the agreement
- The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer completes an order through the webshop and the payment has been successfully authorized via one of the offered payment methods.
- After placing an order, the consumer will receive an electronic order confirmation.
- Idimota reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in, among others, the following situations:
- payment issues
- suspicion of fraud or abuse
- technical errors on the website
- incorrect pricing
- incomplete or incorrect address details
- delivery issues
- If an order is cancelled after payment has been made, the paid amount will be refunded as soon as possible.
Article 6. Prices
- All prices on the webshop are stated in euros and include VAT.
- Any shipping costs will be clearly displayed during checkout.
- Idimota reserves the right to change prices.
- Price changes do not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
Article 7. Payment
- Payment can be made using the payment methods offered during checkout on the webshop.
- Idimota reserves the right to refuse certain payment methods or impose additional conditions where deemed necessary for fraud prevention or risk management purposes.
Article 8. Processing and shipping
- Orders are generally processed and shipped within 2 business days after receipt of payment.
- Orders placed during weekends or official public holidays in the Netherlands will be processed on the next business day.
- Once an order has been shipped, the consumer will receive a shipping confirmation including a track & trace code.
Article 9. Transport and delivery times
- From the moment a package has been handed over to the carrier, the following estimated delivery times apply:
The Netherlands
1–2 business days
Belgium, Germany and France
2–4 business days
Other European countries
3–7 business days
- The stated delivery times are indicative and cannot be guaranteed.
- Idimota is not liable for delays caused by carriers or logistics partners.
- If delivery unexpectedly takes longer than 30 days after conclusion of the agreement, the consumer has the right to terminate the agreement free of charge.
Article 10. Address details
- The consumer is responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address.
- If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping costs may be charged for resending the package.
Article 11. Right of withdrawal
- The consumer has the right to withdraw from an order within 14 days after receipt without providing any reason.
- After notifying the withdrawal, the consumer has an additional 14 days to return the product.
- During the cooling-off period, the consumer must handle the product and packaging with care.
- The consumer may use the European model withdrawal form, but is not obliged to do so. The withdrawal may also be communicated through an unambiguous statement, for example by e-mail.
Article 12. Return conditions
To process a return correctly, the following conditions apply:
- the product is unused
- the product is undamaged
- the product is in its original condition
- the product is returned in its original packaging
If a returned product does not meet the return conditions and is no longer in resalable condition, Idimota may apply a reduction in value. In such cases, the product may be returned to the consumer upon request, with shipping costs borne by the consumer.
Article 13. Hygiene products
For products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, the right of withdrawal expires once the seal has been broken.
This includes, among others, the Idimota BRAIDFIT BALACLAVA, which is supplied in sealed packaging.
Article 14. Return costs
Returns within the Netherlands:
€4.95 return costs, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
Returns from other European countries:
The consumer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipment.
Article 15. Refunds
- After receipt and inspection of the returned product, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days.
- Refunds will be made using the same payment method as the original payment.
- Idimota may withhold the refund until the returned product has been received or until proof of shipment has been provided.
Article 16 – Warranty and complaints
- Idimota guarantees that the delivered products conform to the agreement and meet reasonable standards of quality.
- If a product is defective or if there is a complaint regarding an order, this must be reported as soon as possible via support@idimota.com.
- The consumer must provide at least:
- name
- order number
- a clear description of the issue
- photos of the defect, if applicable
- Idimota aims to respond to complaints within 5 business days.
- A complaint regarding one product does not affect other products within the same order.
Article 17. Liability
- Products supplied by Idimota that do not possess protective properties, such as clothing accessories, are intended for comfort purposes only and do not provide protection against injury or damage.
- Use of these products is entirely at the user’s own risk.
- Idimota is not liable for damage or injury resulting from improper use of products.
- Idimota is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, loss of income, or other economic losses, unless caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of Idimota.
- To the extent permitted by law, Idimota’s liability shall in all cases be limited to the amount of the relevant order.
Article 18. Intellectual property
All texts, images, designs, logos, product photos, and other content on the website are the intellectual property of Idimota.
It is prohibited to copy, reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Idimota.
Article 19. Discount codes
- Discount codes may have a limited validity period.
- Discount codes cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.
- Discount codes do not grant entitlement to discounts on future orders.
- Idimota reserves the right to revoke discount codes in the event of misuse.
Article 20. Force majeure
Idimota is not liable for delays or failure to fulfill obligations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Force majeure includes, but is not limited to:
- disruptions to internet or hosting services
- failures of payment providers
- transport issues or delays caused by carriers
- government measures
- pandemics
- strikes
- fire or natural disasters
- cyberattacks
- logistical disruptions
During a force majeure situation, Idimota has the right to temporarily suspend fulfillment of its obligations until the force majeure situation has ended.
If fulfillment becomes permanently impossible due to force majeure, Idimota has the right to fully or partially terminate the agreement without any obligation to pay compensation.
Article 21. Disputes
- Disputes between Idimota and the consumer shall first be resolved, as far as possible, through mutual consultation.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law.
- If the consumer resides in another country within the European Union, the mandatory consumer protection laws of that country shall remain applicable.

Article 22 – Amendments to the Terms and Conditions
Idimota reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.
The most recent version of the Terms and Conditions will always be published on the website.
Orders are subject to the Terms and Conditions applicable at the time of purchase.
